Water therapies
In times of increasing daily stress and anxiety more and more people are looking for different ways and means to unwind. The growing popularity of yoga, Tai Chi, massage and meditation within the last decade demonstrate the growing need for such calming and restorative spaces.
During the last twenty years the language of water is also being recognised as a valuable avenue to help energise and nourish body, mind and spirit. Disciplines such as Ai Chi and Watsu intrinsically use the healing properties of water in ways that swimming is not commonly able to unearth. Both have helped to pioneer the worldwide development and appreciation of therapeutic bodywork in water.
